Salon 94 was created in 2002 as a unique environment for artists to exhibit special projects and installations outside of the typical white cube gallery. In 2007, Salon 94 has opened a second gallery, Salon 94 Freemans, in Manhattan's Lower East Side where it showcases the work of emerging and mid-career artists.
